We're proud to introduce our customers to the brand new 2019 Audi Q8, which offers a stylish new option in the five-passenger SUV segment. The Q8 boasts a coupe-inspired design that bears significant resemblance to supremely upscale offerings from Bentley, Porsche, and Lamborghini.
Prominent fenders and an athletic build marry to a sloping roofline, allowing ample space for passengers in the rear seat. The Q8 measures in as lower and shorter than its Q7 sibling, but it's also wider -- while sitting on the same wheelbase, which makes it feel plenty sizeable.
Audi is renowned for its role as a leader in automotive LED lighting, and the Q8 is further proof of that. Dynamic lighting presents an animation to greet the driver when the SUV is either locked or unlocked, while taillights also give off an animated light display when the driver unlocks the Q8 with the Audi advanced key. Naturally, that animation reverses when the SUV is locked as if waving goodbye.
The expansive dashboard is accented by a selection of inlay options, while 18-way contoured front seats offer the comfort and support you crave. The rear seats boast a 40/20/40-split and come with their climate controls to enhance the experience. A panoramic sunroof comes standard, allowing light and air to flow into the cabin at your command.
The hands-free power tailgate makes for easy loading and unloading, and there's a stainless steel threshold to protect the sill. Naturally, there are interior packages available that make your experience even more elegant, from a Cold Weather package that includes a heated steering wheel and rear seats, to an ambient LED Interior Lighting Plus package that offers 30 colors to match your mood.
The 2019 Audi Q8 features a standard 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 engine with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system, which teams to an eight-speed automatic transmission that features paddle shifters mounted on the steering wheel. Together, they combine to manufacture 335 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque, delivering a 0 to 60 mph time of 5.6 seconds. The mild-hybrid system allows the SUV to run for a limited period of time on battery power alone, helping to boost fuel efficiency.
Audi's famed quattro® all-wheel drive is included as a standard feature, giving you the assurance and control that you want in all manners of road conditions. When extra traction is required, the system routes power to the axle that needs it. Another standard feature we admire?
